South of the NMSU Golf Course on Las Alturas Drive and East of I-25 is an area called Las Alturas. It consists of a number of subdivisions with homes constructed as early as 1980 on the north end to those still under construction on the south end. The price range in this large area is wide and ranges from $200K to over $1M. Lot sizes vary from 0.2 to over 5 acres. The topography is generally rolling with lots of desert vegetation and potentially outstanding mountain and/or valley views.
